It was lovely to see so many of you embracing the festive spirit today! After seeing your fantastic costumes, I can’t wait to see the all the different Christmas jumpers in a couple of weeks!

5JB were incredible when performing their Macbeth Production last week in front of some of the staff. They did themselves proud remembering all their lines and stage directions, a pat on the back is well deserved for all of you!

On Wednesday this week, Year 5 took part in No Pens Wednesday. We had a great day of practical activities and lots of discussion. The children worked hard on music, art, cooking and also had a go at “Just a Minute” – not as easy as it sounds, but we had some real stars!

5JB and the whole of Allerton CofE Primary have been wearing odd socks today in raising awareness for Anti-bullying week. We will be taking part in activities within this subject in the coming weeks!

Today 5JB have been fantastic at painting their witch masks! This has been a long, rewarding process which started by sketching the faces onto cardboard, then using newspaper and Modroc to mold ‘witch like’ features and they finished the project today by mixing colours and painting to create the final piece of work. Well done!
